About MyTuition

Online tuition, built around learning from home.

MyTuition exists to make good tuition easier to reach. We teach live online classes for students across Malaysia, so that where a family lives never decides what their child can learn.

Our story

A decade of teaching through a screen.

MyTuition began offering online tuition in 2015. At a time when most tuition still meant travelling to a classroom, we taught over Skype so that students could attend from home. As the classes grew, we moved to Zoom, and that is where our live lessons take place today.

The approach has stayed the same throughout: teach the syllabus properly, keep classes small enough to be useful, and keep the fees and arrangements easy for parents to understand.

  1. 2015

    Online tuition begins

MyTuition starts teaching live classes online over Skype, so students can learn from home.

  2. Since then

    Moving to Zoom

As the classes grew, teaching moved to Zoom, which offers a more stable and interactive lesson experience.

  3. Today

    Students across Malaysia

We teach primary, secondary and IGCSE students from Year 1 through to Year 11, in groups of no more than 30.

Why families choose online

The same teaching, without the journey.

Time back for families

No driving to a tuition centre after school or waiting for a class to finish. Lessons happen at home, at a set time each week.

Accessible anywhere

Students join from wherever they live in Malaysia, as long as they have a reliable internet connection.

A familiar way to learn

Classes run on Zoom, which most students already use comfortably. The lesson format stays consistent from week to week.
